Bundaberg Skills Centre has a 25 year history of developing services directly responsive to meeting the needs of disadvantaged people in our community including people with a disability. In addition services are provided for business and industry.

Bundaberg Skills Centre’s primary aim is to support disadvantaged and unemployed people by providing training; developing skills; assisting them to gain employment; and providing supported employment in a Business Service Unit.

The organisation is a RTO and delivers quality training, labour market programs, welfare and community services to the Wide Bay region.

Bundaberg Skills Centre oversees multiple funding contracts with various Government departments, which include:

• Disability Services - DEA (Open Employment and a Business Service); Post School Support
