Making a difference

Job Futures makes a difference for job-seekers

Job Futures is committed to getting people into meaningful employment. We focus on some of the most disadvantaged groups in our society including:

  • Indigenous Australians
  • People with a disability
  • Mature aged people
  • Young people
  • Parents returning to the workforce
  • Ex-offenders
  • Refugees on Temporary Protection Visas

We treat the people we serve as individuals, with unique needs, circumstances and aspirations. As well as providing programmes and training, we work with people and give them personal support, advice and counselling.

Job Futures makes a difference in communities

Job Futures looks for solutions that keep communities strong and viable. Our member organisations know the communities they work in because they’re part of those communities.

Job Futures make sure that the work we do, programmes, projects, procedures and policies, add to the social, environmental and economic well-being of communities.

Job Futures works for change

Our goal is to make positive changes to Australian social policy and practice in employment and other related services, and in the building of more inclusive and sustainable communities.

Each member has direct experience in the community they serve, and bring this knowledge to bring about positive changes across the nation.
