As a panel member of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Innovation Fund, Job Futures has been able to support work with the School for Social Entrepreneurs as they expanded their UK franchise to Australia.
Through partnership with non-member organisation Novaskill, we have delivered the Australian Apprenticeships ACCESS Program within northern NSW in towns such as Lismore, Ballina, Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay.
Job Futures has partnered with Social Traders for the development of their National Social Enterprise Development Support Services (NSEDSS). Over 2011-12 NSEDSS will provide vital business development supports for up to 50 social enterprises, building the marketing, legal structure, and industry knowledge to enhance this new and emerging sector.
Job Futures has partnered with the Australian Social Innovation Exchange (ASIX) to improve capacity on numerous social innovation projects including a Post Release Support Service for ex-offenders looking to re-enter the workforce in the Illawarra and a project working with jobless families in Western Australia.
